I downloaded and configured the DCT. It runs local on my 8.0.2 client. I was able to retrieve config information on all my 7.0.x and 8.0.x servers. It works quite well.
My suggestion: Do your due diligence…..Know the “whats and why’s” of what you are doing before implementing any of the suggested changes to your environment
